The Shire of Capel is looking for a Supervisor Parks to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of our parks, ovals, reserves and associated assets. As our Supervisor Parks, you will lead a team responsible for the maintenance of public parks, ovals and related assets across the Shire. In accordance with works programs and customer requests, you will supervise contractors and staff, and ensure safety, efficiency and service standards are met. You’ll also contribute to planning, budgeting and asset improvement activities, working closely with the Coordinator Parks and other internal teams. This role is hands-on, varied and vital to the ongoing enhancement of our public open spaces.

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:
Qualifications in traffic management (Basic Worksite Traffic Management, Traffic Control and/or Advanced Worksite Traffic Management), along with experience or certification in chainsaw use, will be highly regarded. Experience working in a similar role within local government is also desirable.
