We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concreter to become an integral part of our construction team. At Liquid Systems Pty Ltd, we specialise in delivering high-quality structural and decorative concrete solutions, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage concrete projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee and execute the full lifecycle of concrete projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, within budget, and to a high standard of workmanship.

• Concrete Installation: Lead the preparation and installation of concrete structures, including formwork, base layers, reinforcing steel, and final finishes. This includes structural and decorative concrete works.

• Material & Supply Management: Ensure materials and supplies are delivered and stored safely and in the correct quantities. Organize delivery schedules and assist with loading and unloading of materials.

• Site Coordination: Conduct onsite checks to ensure safety, compliance with architectural and engineering specifications, and quality control throughout the construction process.

• Team Leadership: Lead site teams by setting clear goals, communicating expectations, and ensuring adherence to company processes and values. Liaise with subcontractors, inspectors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all works are compliant with regulatory standards and approved documentation. Maintain project schedules and meet key milestones. Book and coordinate inspections and manage any issues that arise during the project.

What We’re Looking For:

• Industry Experience: You should have a strong background in both structural and decorative concreting, with the ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and technical documents.

• Physical Ability: This role requires physical stamina and the ability to manage the physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting, operation of hand tools, and concrete pouring.

• Attention to Detail: You must have an eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship that exceeds client expectations.

• Problem Solving & Initiative: The ability to foresee potential issues and resolve them before they impact the project is crucial. You will also need to manage resources efficiently and ensure that all team members are aligned with the project goals.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required, both for working within your team and when liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Clear, timely communication is key to keeping projects on track and ensuring client satisfaction.

• Safety Focused: You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all worksites meet occupational health and safety standards. Regular checks and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in the concreting industry, particularly in structural and decorative projects

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and other technical documentation

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage project schedules and milestones

• Physical fitness to complete labor-intensive tasks

• Current full driver’s license

Desirable:

• Experience in the commercial construction sector

• Previous experience in managing concrete projects from start to finish
