About the Role
This is a hands-on, entry-level administration and membership support role, perfect for someone eager to start or grow their career.
You’ll be the friendly voice and organised presence that keeps our national office running smoothly — supporting members, branches, events, conservation programs and communications.
No two days are ever the same. One day you’re processing memberships and taking calls; the next you’re helping prepare for a conservation event or supporting a major national initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome new members and support existing members through renewals and enquiries
Maintain accurate membership and administrative records
Assist with event logistics, bookings, communications and planning
Help prepare minutes, meeting materials and correspondence
Support FGA staff, volunteers and committees with day-to-day admin tasks
Handle phone, email and in-person enquiries professionally
Assist with basic finance administration (invoices, receipts, reconciliation)
Contribute to newsletters, social media updates and office communications
Represent the values of FGA — ethical hunting, conservation, community and respect
Who We’re Looking For
Someone who is:
Passionate about the outdoors, wildlife, conservation and/or hunting
Positive, reliable and organised
Comfortable interacting with members, volunteers, hunters and stakeholders
Keen to learn — this is an entry-level role with loads of support
A good communicator with strong attention to detail
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and happy to learn new systems
Qualifications:
