Permanent full-time | Home every night | No weekends required
$50/hr base + quarterly incentives (~$10k/quarter)
Average ~$70/hr based on a 38hr week
4-day working week + 1 planning day

Join Queensland’s #1 solar installer and future-proof your trade career. You’ll lead your own install crew, running 1 solar installation per day across the Whitsunday region. With a mix of residential and commercial projects, you’ll oversee the full install process, ensure safety and quality, and provide the client handover at the end of each job.
And if you’re not quite at that stage yet – no problem. We offer full training, mentoring and support to get you up to speed and set you up for success as a Team Leader.
What you’ll be doing as Team LeaderLead a crew to complete 1 solar install per day
Oversee AC/DC electrical works, switchboard upgrades, inverter & battery installs
Manage site setup, JSA compliance & safety checks
Coordinate with roof crew and apprentices
Complete testing, commissioning & client handover
Ensure paperwork and digital records are finalised each day
$50/hr base + quarterly incentives (~$10k every 3 months)
Works out to ~$70/hr average on 38hrs/week
Guaranteed $5k/quarter for first year sign-on (~$20k extra)
4-day working week + 1 planning day
Optional weekends for additional income
Supplied vehicle, phone & uniform
Paid training + nationally recognised solar & battery certifications
Clear career pathway into senior leadership
Must have:
Electrical trade qualification (Open licence)
Current driver’s licence
Preferred (or willing to train):
SAA Solar & Battery qualification
Working at Heights
Forklift licence
Confident leading a small team on site (or eager to step up into the role)
Strong communicator with clients & crew
Safety-conscious, organised and detail-driven
Keen to grow into a long-term leadership role
