As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of clinical and personal care for residents. This includes direct bedside nursing as well as the supervision, education, and support of care staff. You’ll be expected to uphold our facility’s values, encourage continuous improvement, and foster a culture of empathy and respect.
We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to provide high-quality clinical care to elderly residents in a welcoming aged care environment.
Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality clinical and personal care to residents
Supervise and lead care staff, enrolled nurses, and assistants
Accurately complete and maintain documentation and care plans
Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and aged care standards
Support a homely and respectful environment for residents
Actively participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and staff training
Monitor and maintain equipment safety, reporting any faults or issues
Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and team members
Contribute to a positive and respectful workplace culture
What We're Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who has:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
Experience in aged care, geriatric rehab or psycho-geriatrics
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Empathetic, respectful, and professional in all interactions
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Sound understanding of standards, accreditation, and infection control
