Brighter Beginnings Early Education is a respected, community-focused early learning service founded by two local mothers who wanted to create warm, home-like environments where children and families feel understood and supported. Today, we’re known for our strong cultural connection with families from migrant and linguistically diverse backgrounds and for providing inclusive, high-quality early learning.
We’re now seeking a full-time Centre Director to lead its thriving service in Fairfield, NSW

You’re an ECT-qualified professional with meaningful early childhood experience and the confidence to guide others. You lead with integrity, empathy and cultural awareness, and you’re comfortable stepping into a role that blends operational leadership with strong people support.
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECT)
Strong understanding of NQS, EYLF and early childhood regulations
Ability to communicate respectfully with families
Collaborative, calm and supportive leadership style
Confidence guiding younger teams and fostering positive culture
Solutions-focused mindset with commercial awareness
You take the time to understand an existing environment before initiating change, valuing what already works and building on established strengths.
Your Next Chapter Starts HereThis is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide daily operations, uplift practice, strengthen team culture and partner closely with families.
Your key responsibilities include:
Leading daily operations aligned with NQF, NQS, EYLF and regulatory requirements
Building respectful relationships with families across diverse cultural backgrounds
Mentoring and coaching educators to strengthen capability
Providing on-the-floor guidance and modelling high-quality pedagogy
Managing enrolments, occupancy, family communication and customer experience
Ensuring compliance, documentation and quality standards
Supporting a young, dynamic team and contributing to monthly Director forums
