Maintenance Technicians - Dayshift
Join a leading manufacturer of high-quality food products, supplying some of Australia’s top retailers and food service industries.
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our client’s fantastic, rapidly growing team. Opportunities are available at their Dandenong facility, with positions operating on the day shift. You’ll work 12-hour shifts (6 am - 6 pm) on a 7-day fortnight roster, including one weekend.
Previous experience working within a manufacturing facility is essential (FMCG, Food, etc).
The salaries offered vary depending on the candidate’s skill set and experience. Salaries are calculated based on a 10.8-hour working day:

- Maintenance Technician – Annual salary circa:
- $114,500 + Super Day Shift
- Working Schedule:
- Mon - Fri - $48ph (Day Shift)
- Sat - $72ph
- Sun - $96ph
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Tasks as per the weekly schedule.
- Decrease the duration of all downtimes by rectifying them as quickly as possible, in a safe manner.
- Actively monitor waste, attributable to plant and equipment, and immediately report to the Shift Manager and Supervisor, any instance where it exceeds the standard.
- Provide diagnostic testing and maintenance services on a wide variety of electrical protection and control relays & equipment.
- Ensure that all food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards are met or exceeded by BRC, HACCP, and GMP.
- Assist the Engineering Department in meeting deadlines with the installation of new projects and improvements to current Plant & Machinery.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams. An egoless approach with strong communication and people skills. MUST be open to feedback and be able to ask for help when required.
- Maintenance Technician applicants must have relevant qualifications & experience. Electrical qualifications also welcome.
- CMMS knowledge, such as MEX, is advantageous.
