About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to join our dynamic team at Juni Melbourne, a premier hospitality destination in the heart of Melbourne. As our Bar Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all bar operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving revenue growth. This is a full-time position based in our Melbourne CBD location.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee all aspects of beverage & Wine operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision

• Develop and implement creative cocktail and beverage menus to drive sales and enhance the customer experience

• Ensure excellent customer service by training and motivating the bar team

• Monitor and analyse bar performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

• Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative food and drink pairings

• Maintain a safe and compliant bar environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and liquor licensing requirements

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies for the bar

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry

• Proven track record of driving sales, improving operational efficiency, and leading high-performing bar teams

• Excellent knowledge of cocktail and beverage preparation, as well as beer and wine selection

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team

• Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and budgeting

• Thorough understanding of liquor licensing laws and occupational health and safety regulations

• Enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
