Terror Twilight Catering is looking for a Casual Catering Chef to join our growing production kitchen in Collingwood. If you love working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and want to be part of a supportive, fast-moving team, this is a great opportunity to jump in and get involved.
Terror Twilight Catering is part of Yolk Group’s beloved Terror Twilight Cafe family — delivering fresh, healthy, café-quality catering across Melbourne. From breakfast boxes and vibrant salads to event spreads and workplace lunches, we bring creativity and consistency to every order.
We’re a small, passionate team that values good food, good people, and a good work-life balance.
Work-Life Balance: Day shifts only — generally between 6 am and 2 pm.
Supportive Team: Work alongside experienced chefs in a friendly, collaborative kitchen.
Opportunities to grow: Learn and develop your skills as the business expands.
Hourly pay: Casual rates, paid weekly.
Assist with daily food prep, cooking, and packaging of catering orders.
Follow recipes and portion standards to maintain consistency.
Help with packing and organising catering deliveries.
Keep work areas clean and maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
Support the team during busy periods and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.
Previous kitchen experience (café, catering, or restaurant experience preferred).
A genuine passion for food and willingness to learn.
Reliability, punctuality, and a team-player attitude.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends as required.
Pastry or baking experience (preferred, but not necessary).
