Our client is one of the largest and most respected processors of abalone and premium seafood. We now have the opportunity to expand their team, we are seeking casuals who want to work in an ongoing position at their Dandenong South site.
NO Experience in seafood processing - NO WORRIES!!! - Training Provided
A good understanding of food handling processes is required as you will be working with raw material from preparation to packaging.
Onsite training and uniform provided - Hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm
Good understanding of English is preferred but we also have staff available to translate for the following languages if assistance is required: Vietnamese & Cantonese.
Full working Rights essential as our client is looking for staff long term.

you will work as part of a hands- on production team, processing premium seafood products for domestic and international export.
Duties may include:
Shucking, cleaning, slicing and drying seafood
Sorting, grading and packing abalone and other products
Assisting with cleaning, freezing and export preparation
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and quality standards
What we are looking for:
Reliable and Punctual
Comfortable working with seafood
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
Willing to learn new skills and work up to a reasonably fast pace.
Must have your own reliable transport

Previous factory, food production or seafood experience would be beneficial.
