Are you ready to join the team at Australia’s newest Kenworth and DAF truck dealership? Welcome to Melbourne North Truck Centre, the latest addition to the extremely successful Hallam and Bayswater Truck Centres. As a full-service Kenworth and DAF Truck dealership, we offer new truck sales, parts, and mechanical servicing, proudly serving the North of Melbourne, including Somerton and Ballarat territories. Currently operating from our interim location on Hume Highway in Somerton, we are eagerly anticipating the completion of our state-of-the-art dealership in 2028 in Mickleham, which is set to revolutionise the truck sales and service customer experience in Melbourne.
About the role
Melbourne North Truck Centre are seeking a dedicated, skilled and meticulous individual to fill an opening as a Driver & Yard Person in our Sales Departments. Maintaining the highest level of customer service, you will represent the company to our suppliers and customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the collection and delivery of vehicles to and from our customers
- Manage the movement of vehicles around the dealership
- Prepare the coordination and detailing of new and used vehicles
- Maintain presentation of the branch both internally and externally, including minor maintenance where require
- Ensure all trucks on display are clean and presentable
Skills & Experience
- A proactive approach to tasks with a proven ability of working in a team environment
- Must have HR/HC/MC Drivers Licence
- Dangerous goods licence an advantage
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- High level of commitment to safety and safe driving practices
- Basic computer knowledge
