About the role
As a Site Supervisor (Piling) with Bauer Foundations Australia Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects. Based in Clayton, VIC, initially on the Suburban Rail Loop project.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Superintendent, you'll play a key role in ensuring the project is completed at a high standard of safety, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. To enable that, you will ultimately have responsibility for:
Driving Emphasize safety leadership – specific to managing Exclusion Zones, Restricted Access Zones, and Temporary Works, all in accordance with Bauer/CPB Safety Essentials.
Directly managing daily site activities, daily reporting and supervising the crew.
Implementing and enforcing exclusion and restricted access zones.
Exercising stop work authority wherever unsafe conditions exist.
Leading toolbox/pre-start meetings and ensure SWMS sign-on.
Monitoring ongoing compliance with barrier and zone controls.
What we're looking for
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction/piling supervision
Previous Diaphragm Wall and Piling Experience
Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, lead and report on multiple works activities with a variety of key stakeholders necessary to deliver the project
Cert III in Civil Foundations and knowledge of building codes and regulations would be viewed favourably
Capacity to communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
