We are a well-established and reputable building and restoration company, specialising in insurance repairs and residential projects. Due to continued growth, we’re seeking a motivated and experienced Building Supervisor / Estimator to join our dynamic team.
About the Role:As a Building Supervisor / Estimator, you’ll play a key role in managing insurance and private -related building projects from initial assessment through to completion. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate quotes, coordinating trades, supervising works onsite, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:Attend and assess insurance claim sites
Prepare detailed, cost-effective estimates and scopes of work
Liaise with insurance companies, loss adjusters, clients, and trades
Supervise and coordinate repair works onsite
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and insurance requirements
Maintain accurate records and provide regular project updates
Proven experience in a similar role within the insurance building sector
Strong estimating and building supervision skills
Ability to read and interpret building plans and scopes
Sound knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and OH&S
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
Trade background or relevant qualifications (highly regarded)
Current driver’s licence
