The Team:
In the role of Senior Physiotherapist (Trauma and Acute Surgery) you will provide optimal evidence-based physiotherapy to trauma and acute surgery patients in in the Trauma and Acute Surgery Unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital. In this role you will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment including the trauma and surgical wards to deliver evidence driven patient centred care and as a consultive resource across the acute care service.
As a member of the physiotherapy team, you will contribute to a culture of learning and foster leadership and innovation.

Details of appointment:
fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until the 29 August 2026.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia

Current Driver’s Licence
Postgraduate qualifications or working towards this in the identified clinical area
