Our well-established center in the Inner West is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our long-standing team. With an Exceeding rating and an impeccable community reputation, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care and education to the children in our community.

You will be leading a well established team of strong and experienced Educators with staff/child ratios well above the National Regulations.

We are child safe organisation, we strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures and have developed a Statement of Commitment to Child safety and Wellbeing which all our Educators are commited to uphold.

Position: Room Leader - Diploma or ECT

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of Educators

• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in line with our center's philosophy and policies

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities

• Observe and assess children's development and provide feedback to parents and the team

• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community

• Ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of children at the service

• Support each child to learn and develop in a safe environment

Requirements:

• A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education - Diploma or ECT

• Valid Working with Children Check

• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Genuine passion for early childhood education and care

• Ability to work effectively within a team

• Previous leadership experience well regarded
