Role Overview:
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Part-Time Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes that reflect our quality and authenticity. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values both tradition and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook menu items in line with The Gilroy’s standards, focusing on French and Italian culinary techniques.
· Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of dishes during service.
· Manage your section efficiently, including mise en place, stock control, and cleanliness.
· Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
· Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
· Support junior staff as needed.
Skills & Experience:
· Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role, preferably in French or Italian cuisine.
· Strong knowledge of authentic cooking techniques and ingredient handling.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
· Understanding of food safety regulations.
