As a family-owned and operated company, we currently manage six established bodies corporate across the estate. We’re excited to announce a new caretaking contract with a seventh body corporate, and as a result, we’re expanding our team with this new Maintenance Handyperson position.

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking maintenance / handyperson to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and functional facilities. The role involves a combination of general cleaning and maintenance duties, facility inspections and light handyman tasks. This position will suit someone who enjoys a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• General upkeep and maintenance tasks to common areas, and exterior spaces.

• Empty rubbish and recycling bins and replace liners daily.

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs.

• Read utility meters.

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and report to management.

• Support facility-related setups for meetings or events.

• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

• Always follow health and safety procedures.

To be considered for this position you must possess the following attributes

• Previous experience working in residential or commercial building complexes preferred but not essential.

• Ability to perform assigned tasks to a high standard.

• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and procedures.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• A positive and proactive approach.

• Friendly with great people skills

• Current manual drivers license is essential.
