This high profile and extremely successful Australian FMCG business has been experiencing rapid growth across all their divisions. Due to the strong growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and commercially minded CFO to join the business. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the executive leadership team, you will have 8-10 direct reports and be responsible for:
Leading the entire finance function
Take ownership of monthly, half year and full year reporting
Provide financial insights and analysis to the executive leadership team
Annual budgeting
Establish and evaluate business capital requirements
Board reporting and presentations
Oversee the external audit process
Compliance with taxation matters
Assist with managing key relationships - solicitors, banks, insurers etc
Long term strategic planning and assist with strategy development
Ad hoc projects and process improvements
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will be CA/CPA qualified and have a proven track record of operating at the CFO level within an FMCG/consumer goods environment. You will have a hands on approach along with a strategic and commercially orientated mindset. The ability to lead, manage and nurture a team is also essential.
