Based in the Company’s Head Office in the Riverina region of NSW office, this position plays a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s accounting operations and reporting.

The Role

As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the full suite of financial accounting and reporting functions for the business operations. You will assist in ensuring financial integrity across all ledgers, meeting local compliance obligations, as well as contributing to the broader objectives of the finance team.

Key accountabilities include:

• Performing day-to-day transactional accounting to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements and compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.
• Producing accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and year-end financial reports.
• Supporting and mentoring junior accounting professionals.
• Maintaining up-to-date, accurate financial records in line with company and statutory requirements.
• Preparing statutory and compliance reports, including BAS, FBT, and payroll tax submissions.
• Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, taxation obligations, and internal policies.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to support business improvement initiatives

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced accounting professional with a balance of technical capability, attention to detail as well as leadership potential and/or aspirations.

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting and completion of CPA or CA accreditation.
• Previous experience in financial accounting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems skills (ERP exposure highly regarded).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across regions and disciplines.
• A hands-on, proactive approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The Benefits

• Competitive remuneration and benefits package, circa $100,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience
