Location: Based in our office in Mount Waverley, with travel across Metropolitan Melbourne and the Bass Coast region


Job Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with occasional flexibility required)

Beata Homecare provides home care services to support the independence of elderly and disabled clients from various cultural backgrounds across Melbourne. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Community Nurse (RN) to join our team to provide in-home nursing services to our consumers.


Role Overview:

You will be responsible for providing in-home nursing services to our consumers.


Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing incoming nursing referrals

  • Nursing assessment and review of all our Home Care Package (HCP) (Support at Home after 1 November 2025) clients

  • Annual assessment and review of our National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants

  • Monitoring and managing services for our NDIS participants

  • Delivering comprehensive nursing services, including medication support, Skin and wound management, Cognitive assessments, Blood pressure management, Stoma care, Catheter care, Diabetes management, Development and implementation of behavioural care plans

  • Providing clinical support to the team


Requirements:

  • Nursing registration with AHPRA - Registered Nurse Division 1, Level 1 (minimum)

  • Medication endorsement

  • Good understanding of community nursing. Experience is highly desirable. 

  • Experience with wound management, behaviour management, stoma care and catheter care

  • Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance

  • Current National Police Check (less than 3 months old) or NDIS Workers Screening Check

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
