About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Trainer, you’ll design, deliver, and evaluate high-quality clinical education programs that empower our workforce to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.

With a focus on NDIS and aged care services, this role plays a key part in improving service quality, regulatory compliance, and customer outcomes. You'll combine your clinical expertise with strong facilitation skills in a collaborative and values-led environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, competency-based clinical training programs

• Develop tailored modules for complex care (e.g. diabetes, PEG, epilepsy, wound care)

• Coach, mentor and clinically supervise frontline staff to build clinical confidence

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality and compliance standards

• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement

• Travel intra- and interstate to deliver impactful, face-to-face training sessions

About You

You're a confident educator and experienced clinician who thrives on developing others. You translate complex clinical knowledge into practical, hands-on learning and understand the nuances of disability and aged care service delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Experience delivering clinical training and assessment in health, disability, or aged care settings

• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, adaptable to a variety of learning styles

• Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and Aged Care Quality Standards (highly regarded)

• Experience in training design and curriculum development (desirable)

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)

• Working with Children Check – state equivalent (or willingness to obtain)

• Australian Open driver’s licence

• Full working rights in Australia

• Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety & You (or willingness to complete)
