Southside restaurant is looking for experienced section waiters to join our team at one of Queensland's most highly regarded restaurants.
About Us: Situated in the heart of Fish Lane South Brisbane, Southside offers a tropical escape with asian inspired dishes from across the region. Southside offers our valued guests an unparalleled dining experience. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our guests, offering over 170 wines by the bottle, craft cocktails, and a Asian inspired menu designed to share.

Position: Section Waiter
Responsibilities:
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced restaurant environment
· Manage your section with confidence, grace and efficiency
· Deliver a seamless, guest-focused experience from arrival to departure
· Recommend food and beverage pairings with strong product knowledge
· Support the team during high-volume service periods
· Handle challenging services, upsells and special requests with professionalism
· Maintain presentation and cleanliness standards to the highest level
Skills and experience:
· 2+ years’ experience in a premium restaurant or high-end dining environment
· Strong section experience with ability to carry 3 plates and handle 4+ table rotations
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Working knowledge of wine, cocktails and modern Asian cuisine (advantageous)
· Calm and polished under pressure, with genuine passion for guest service
· RSA certificate (mandatory for Queensland)
