For Yard Hands and Timber Yard Operators to support efficient timber processing and logistics for a leading industry supplier. A permanent full-time role Monday to Friday within a nationally recognised and safety-driven organisation.
- Requires: Forklift licence or willingness to renew; experience operating cutting tools and basic timber handling skills.
- Salary guide: $67,000 - $70,000 per annum.
- Location: South-eastern suburbs of Victoria.
Your normal day will involve:
- Operating forklifts to safely move, load, and unload timber deliveries.
- Preparing and packaging timber orders, including cutting timber to size using chainsaws and drop saws.
- Maintaining site cleanliness and safety compliance with OH&S protocols.
- Working Monday to Friday with half-day Fridays and occasional overtime as required.
As a Yard Hand, you will be a key contributor in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations within the timber yard, ensuring accurate order preparation and safe handling of materials. This role offers on-the-job training and is ideal for candidates looking to advance from general warehousing into specialised timber handling and elevated work platform experience.

You will need:
- Valid forklift licence (essential) or willingness to renew.
- Basic experience or capability in timber handling and use of cutting tools.
