Your Opportunity
We’re seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our Mackay depot, where you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in schools, public buildings, and housing facilities. Your work will be vital in ensuring comfortable and functional environments for the local community.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualification (Certificate III in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration) – if you're not qualified, this role isn’t for you
A current Refrigerant Handling Licence
Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a focus on quality workmanship
A willingness to use digital tools, yes, even tradies need to check emails
A passion for mentoring apprentices and passing on your skills
