Workforce International are seeking experienced Delivery Drivers to join our team in the Newcastle area. This is a casual position, offering a great opportunity to work within an established and friendly team.
About the Role
$33.21/hour + applicable penalties
Immediate start for the right candidate
Central Newcastle location
Shift hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Work available until Christmas
What You'll Be Doing
Safely operating and maintaining vans & small Pantech trucks (class C) to transport parcels and freight
Adhering to all relevant road rules, regulations & safety protocols
Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles as required
Providing excellent customer service and on-time deliveries
Completing accurate documentation and trip logs
Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles
A Successful Candidate Will:
Possess a valid NSW Class C drivers' licence (or higher)
Be able to pass pre-employment physical assessment (including drug & alcohol screening)
Have experience in a similar delivery driving role
Possess strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
Have sound literacy skills
Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
