126 Asian Cuisine is a busy, fast-paced local Chinese restaurant in Ivanhoe — only a short walk from the train station, with staff parking available. We focus on authentic flavours, consistency, and providing great value to our customers.
Position
We’re looking for an energetic Commis Chef with basic wok experience who is keen to learn and grow in a supportive kitchen team.
Responsibilities
Assist senior chefs with wok cooking and food preparation
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
Support day-to-day prep, stock rotation, and kitchen organisation
Follow all workplace safety and food handling requirements
Requirements
Some prior kitchen or Asian cuisine experience preferred
Good attitude, punctual, and eager to learn
Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
Available Monday to Saturday
Must have legal working rights in Australia
