Events Extraordinaire Wanted!
Are you the go-to person for pulling off seamless events? The one who always knows what’s happening, when, where, and how? If you’re ready to take your event coordination skills into a professional environment where your talents will be valued (and your weekends protected!), this could be your next move.
We’re working with the ACT Law Society, the professional association for solicitors in the ACT, to find an Events Coordinator following an exciting internal promotion. You’ll be stepping into a well-supported role with strategic oversight from a fantastic manager, and the opportunity to make it your own.
From workshops and webinars to networking nights and conferences, you’ll help deliver meaningful experiences for members of the legal profession. The Society is known for its high-quality member services, professional development, and sector engagement; and you’ll be at the heart of it.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Planning and delivering a calendar of events that run like clockwork.
Managing logistics, budgets, venues, catering, AV, and all the little details that make events shine.
Creating marketing materials and supporting communications to drive attendance and engagement.
Being on-site to make sure everything goes smoothly, from setup to pack down.
Capturing content and moments that help tell the story of each event.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Have experience coordinating events (bonus points if it’s in a membership or professional services setting).
Are super organised, detail-obsessed, and love a good checklist.
Can juggle multiple priorities and keep calm under pressure.
Know your way around Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and video conferencing platforms.
Want to be part of a team that values professionalism, collaboration, and a bit of fun.
The vibe?
Supportive manager, strategic oversight, and room to grow. You’ll be trusted to run the show but never left without backup. We’re looking for someone who’s confident, capable, and ready to step into a role where they can make a real impact, without needing to reinvent the wheel. Your team is collaborative and at the ready should you need any support.
Did we mention the brand-new, state of the art new offices you get to work in? With an in-house function room and kitchen?
The benefits?
Where to start? The salary will be in the range of $80,000 - $90,000 plus super. Generous, yep, but even more so when you learn the standard working week is 35 hours. You also receive two 'wellness' days annually and additional leave to cover Christmas shut-down.
Next steps, the easy part. Apply now! Your CV is essential, and a cover letter showing us who you are and why you are the perfect match for this role would set you apart.
