We are a small, family-owned business based in Malaga, looking for a full-time, motivated and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic | Fitter to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles and machinery
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and breakdowns efficiently
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure ongoing equipment performance and safety
Work both independently and as part of a small team
Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organisation in the workshop
What We’re Looking For
Australian-recognised Diesel Mechanic trade qualification
Valid Manual Driver’s Licence (HR Licence highly desirable)
Current National Police Clearance and ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
Full working rights in Australia
Strong experience working on a variety of heavy machinery: trucks, trailers, diggers, loaders, skid steers, and compaction equipment
A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to take initiative
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
