About the role

This part-time Enrolled Nurse role at, At Ease Community Nursing in Townsville, QLD offers an exciting opportunity to provide quality nursing care to clients within the local community. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' health and wellbeing while contributing to the overall success of our nursing team.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering professional nursing care to clients in their homes, and within the community

• Assisting with: Wound care, post operative care, mobility assistance, medication management, palliative care, general and mental health and personal care and hygiene, as per care plans

• Monitoring client health status and reporting any changes to the registered nurses

• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and holistic care

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client documentation

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of nursing practices and procedures

• Ability to work mornings and afternoons and some weekends

What we're looking for

• Completion of an approved Enrolled Nursing programme and current or pending AHPRA registration

• New graduate, or experience as an Enrolled Nurse

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency required

• Current full driver's license required for community visits

• Experience in a community nursing or aged care setting, providing direct client care

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team

• Must have an open class license

• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centered nursing care
