Full-Time | Paget Workshop-Based | Leading OEM in Longwall Systems

NEPEAN Longwall, a key part of NEPEAN Mining, is expanding our Paget operations and seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and deliver electrical project scopes across our longwall equipment portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected OEM supporting major underground coal operations across Australia.

As the Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering projects across longwall systems and associated equipment. You will coordinate technical teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety protocols, and customer requirements.

You’ll work closely with internal engineering, production, and site services teams to deliver industry-leading outcomes.

• Manage electrical project lifecycles from planning through to commissioning

• Coordinate engineering resources and project schedules

• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, reporting, and risk management

• Liaise with clients, internal stakeholders, and suppliers

• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, statutory requirements, and site-specific regulations

• Provide technical leadership across electrical systems on longwall equipment

• Support continuous improvement and innovation within the electrical engineering function

• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

• Strong project management experience within mining, heavy manufacturing, or OEM environments

• Background in underground coal or longwall systems (highly regarded)

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• High commitment to safety, quality, and delivery

RPEQ certification or progress toward RPEQ is advantageous.
