About the role
PS Plumbing Group is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. As a full-time Excavator Operator, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, utilising your expertise to efficiently and safely operate heavy machinery. What you'll be doing
Operate excavators on construction sites in a safe and efficient manner
Conduct routine checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
Interpret and follow site plans, blueprints, and instructions from site supervisors
Communicate effectively with the construction team to coordinate project tasks
Adhere to all health and safety protocols and environmental regulations
Assist with other general construction duties as required
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as an Excavator Operator in the construction industry
Demonstrated ability to safely and efficiently operate a range of heavy machinery
Strong understanding of construction site operations, project plans, and safety protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to quality work and attention to detail
Valid driver's license and construction industry certifications/licenses
