The Project & Opportunity:
HumeLink East involves the expansion of the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, along with the design and construction of 230km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West.

For this project, we're looking for multiple Environmental Coordinators to ensure a sustainable environmental impact in all activities carried out by the organisation.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Developing and implementing environmental management plans that comply with regulations and ACCIONA's sustainability commitments.
  • Monitoring and reporting on environmental performance, ensuring adherence to permits and approvals.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential environmental risks associated with construction activities.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and contractors, on environmental matters.
  • Conducting environmental site inspections and audits.
  • Raising awareness and promoting environmental best practices within the project team.

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability or other associated disciplines
  • Experience in investigating and reporting safety incidents
  • Working knowledge of audit procedures
