The Role & Project
Due to recent project awards MACA Interquip Mintrex is currently seeking a couple of experienced HSEQ Advisor's for our active project in Mount Morgan, QLD to commence approx January 2026. In this role you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the success of our construction mining project at Mount Morgan QLD. You will possess a minimum of Cert IV HSE Certificate and have demonstrated the ability to achieve results within a construction mining environment. We are preferably seeking local to the area for a DIDO role working an 8:6 roster.
Role responsibilities:
Conduct regular workplace inspections
Provide support and services associated with Health, Safety and Environment matters to the Project Manager and the Project Team
Coordinate site based occupational health, safety, and environment activities to ensure the competence and well-being of people, the integrity of equipment, and the safe handling of materials
Ensure that all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately instructed concerning safety procedures and systems and that these are complied with
Conduct safety investigations, prepare reports and recommendations, and implement corrective and preventative actions
Ensure accurate information is entered into the electronic Safety Management System (MDS/INX) in a timely manner
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or similar
Relevant mining and construction experience minimum of 2-3 years
Sound knowledge of the applicable State work health and safety act and regulations
Australian “C” class drivers licence
OHS Construction White Card
First Aid within 3 years
Working at Heights within 2 years
