About Us:
We’re a Northern Territory family owned and operated business, with local knowledge, local employees and thorough experience working in the Northern Territory climate. We maintain a large, modern fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment, and we’re looking for a reliable and experienced Auto Electrician to join our growing team.

Your Role:
As an experienced Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic issues on a wide range of light and heavy vehicles, trucks and equipment, including but not limited to dozers, loaders, excavators, graders. This role suits someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, has good communication skills and the drive to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic issues in a variety of vehicles.

  • Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems and components, including wiring, batteries, lighting, and ignition systems.

  • Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting on vehicle electrical systems.

  • Perform safety inspections and complete service documentation

  • Use diagnostic tools and follow workshop procedures

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive electrical technologies and repair techniques.

  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

  • Adhere to all safety and company policies and procedures

 Requirements:

All candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen.

  • Proven experience as an Auto Electrician

  • Relevant qualifications in automotive electrical systems or a similar field is preferred Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring diagrams.

  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify electrical faults.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • A valid driver’s license
