About Golf Sim HireGolf Sim Hire is a Perth-based business specialising in delivering state-of-the-art golf simulator experiences for corporate events, private functions, and community activations. We are expanding into Melbourne and seeking reliable, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to help us bring unforgettable golf experiences to new audiences.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on individual to set up, operate, and host golf simulator events across Melbourne and the broader state of Victoria. This role combines technical set-up with customer interaction — ensuring events run smoothly and guests have an engaging experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesTransport, set up, and pack down golf simulator equipment at event locations
Calibrate and test all simulator hardware/software to ensure smooth operation
Liaise with venue staff and event organisers on logistics (power, space, safety)
Host and engage with guests — explain how to use the simulator, run competitions, and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere
Troubleshoot any technical or software issues during the event
Ensure equipment is maintained, secure, and handled safely
Represent Golf Sim Hire in a professional and brand-aligned manner
Promote future bookings, hand out marketing material, collect feedback
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; confident engaging with groups
Technical/AV experience preferred (but training provided)
Interest or knowledge of golf
Event or hospitality experience desirable
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Current driver’s licence
Physical ability to lift and move equipment (approx. 20kg)
Friendly, approachable, and professional
Reliable and punctual
Problem-solver with a “can-do” attitude
Comfortable working flexible hours (evenings, weekends, irregular shifts)
Employment basis: Casual under Award / Contractor with ABN
Rate: To be negotiated
