About the role
Lisa Boland Psychology is seeking experienced Allied Health Professionals, including Speech Therapists, Clinical Psychologists and Occupational Therapists, to join our neuro-affirming, values driven team in Thirlmere, NSW. This is an ongoing contract position where you can set your own rate of pay, offering the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, providing high-quality therapy services to our diverse client base.
What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans
Collaborate on autism diagnostic assessments in accordance with the Autism CRC guidelines
Providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions with a variety of client presentations
Collaborating with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care
Maintaining detailed client records and contributing to the continuous improvement of our therapy and assessment services
Actively participating in team meetings, professional development, and other clinic activities
What we're looking for
Postgraduate qualification in Psychology, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related Allied Health discipline
Full registration without restrictions to practice with AHPRA
A commitment to work within a neuro-affirming framework as well as an understanding of the social model of disability (or willingness to learn)
Experience working as an Allied Health Professional in a clinical or community-based setting
Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and intervention skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on client-centered care
Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
