Your Opportunity
We're seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our St George depot in the picturesque Balonne Shire, a region celebrated for its rich agricultural heritage and warm community spirit. In this role, you'll be a key player in maintaining local schools and public facilities, ensuring they are kept in top shape for the community. You'll also support emergency response efforts and contribute to important community projects. By collaborating with our government partners, you'll help identify opportunities to expand QBuild’s services, ensuring this vital agricultural hub continues to prosper.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have valid Air Conditioning and Refrigeration qualifications; if you're not qualified, this role isn’t for you
Be hands on and take pride in quality workmanship
Take responsibility for your safety and the safety of those around you
Have a willingness to use digital tools - yes, even tradies need to check emails!
Enjoy sharing your knowledge and supporting apprentices as part of developing the next generation of skilled workers.
