We have multiple locum opportunities for passionate Mental Health Clinicians to join CYMHS teams in various regional locations. These short-term contracts offer flexibility, generous pay, and travel and accommodation, allowing you to focus on delivering vital support to children, adolescents, and their families.

As a CYMHS Mental Health Clinician (Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist), you'll provide assessment, therapeutic intervention, and case management for young people experiencing mental health challenges. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care in a culturally safe and community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mental health assessments and develop care plans
• Deliver individual and family-focused therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with schools, community services, and health teams
• Support early intervention and recovery-focused care
• Maintain clinical documentation and contribute to service development

About You:

• Relevant tertiary qualification and professional registration (AHPRA or AASW)
• Experience working with children and adolescents in mental health settings
• Strong communication and engagement skills
• Cultural awareness and ability to work respectfully with diverse communities
• Willingness to travel and work in regional or remote areas
• Full Australian working rights
