Sydney City Toyota currently has an exciting permanent position available within the Administration Department of our Waterloo Dealership. This role is crucial in ensuring the continued growth and success of one of the most reputable dealerships in Australia.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Accountant and will assist with a range of duties that include:

  • Weekly reporting of ageing debtors to internal management.

  • Monthly reporting of ageing debtors for management meetings.

  • Prepare and distribute monthly debtor statements.

  • Daily debt collection by phone and email and achieving collection KPI's.

  • Liaising with the Sales Department to ensure invoices are raised and processed in line with company policy.

  • Receipting payments and allocating high volumes of transactions recorded on bank statements.

  • Managing high volume credit enquiries on a daily basis and managing ledger of commercial accounts.

  • Managing delinquent debtor accounts including as well as administration and management of debt collection through small claims local court.

  • EOM/EOFY duties including maintenance of accounts receivable ageing trial balance and GL reconciliation works.

  • Serve as backup coverage to the Banking Clerk.

  • Adhoc support to the Administration team.

To take advantage of this exceptional opportunity you must possess the following:

  • Previous local experience in high volume Accounts Receivable / Collections.

  • Solid understanding of collections and the Australian legal framework in debt collection.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office suites.

  • Valid Australian drivers licence.

  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

  • 'Can do' positive attitude towards management and work colleagues, embracing company team culture.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once

  • Previous automotive industry experience preferred
