About Our Client
Peabody is a leading coal producer, providing essential products to produce affordable, reliable energy and steel. Coppabella Mine is located only 140km southwest of Mackay and is a Surface Mine utilizing a Dragline, Dozer and Truck and Shovel method.
What you will be Doing
You will be working as a Blast Hole Driller on a coal mine in the Coppabella region. You will be operating Atlas Capco PV275, CAT MD6420 & Reich C-750-D Drills. In this role, you will be working 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 Thursday to Wednesday rotating day and night shift roster. These roles are available to DIDO, BIBO (Mackay) and residential candidates only.
What you will need
Previous mining experience working as a Blast Hole Driller within a production coal mining environment.
You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australian Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen & pre-employment medical
