We are partnering with a highly respected services provider to appoint a hands-on Contracts Manager to lead and oversee their entire Queensland project portfolio. This is a pivotal role within the business, offering autonomy, leadership scope, and the opportunity to work directly with an exceptional senior leader with 25+ years of industry experience.

As the Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of all contractual, commercial, and operational aspects across a diverse range of QLD projects. You’ll be the central point of coordination, ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead contract administration and commercial management across all QLD projects
- Work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, internal and external, including Project Managers, Superintendents, field leaders, clients, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, governance requirements, and company standards
- Provide guidance to project teams on variations, claims, and risk mitigation
- Drive continual improvement in project delivery, systems, and client engagement
- Maintain strong visibility across sites and operations this is a hands-on role
- Proven experience in contract management within civil, environmental, construction, or related sectors
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple contracts concurrently
- Confident working with and influencing diverse stakeholders (PMs, Superintendents, clients, suppliers)
- Practical mindset, comfortable being out in the field and engaging directly with operations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Law, Construction Management or Finance related
