We are looking for energetic new team members (up to 3) who love people and hospitality to join our team.
The Rustic Mill Cafe/Bakery is an established coffee destination. Focused on coffee and delivering a high quality guest experience 7 days a week. We are artisans with our craft and passionate about bringing happiness to our loyal customers with our coffee and food options.
You will need to be passionate about customer experiences and high standards. Be willing to work a varied role from basic food preparation, coffee making, cleaning and customer service. You will need to have good judgement skills and be fast in prioritising what's important at any given moment while fostering a welcoming environment for our customer. Attention to detail, consistency, clear mindedness and efficiency will be highly admirable assets as well.
Candidates with Barista experience is recommended
What you'll be doing
Taking customer orders and processing payments
Preparing hot and cold beverages including coffee, tea, juices and smoothies
Assisting with food preparation
Restocking and maintaining a clean and organised café environment
Providing friendly and attentive customer service
Ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a customer service hospitality role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Familiarity with coffee machine operations and barista skills (preferred)
A passion for food, drinks and creating a great customer experience
