About the role
Tas Connect Logistics is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) / Multi-Combination (MC) Truck Driver to join our team in Launceston, Tasmania. This is a full-time position, offering competitive remuneration and a range of employee benefits. As a Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in our road transport and logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region.
What you'll be doing
Operating HC / MC trucks to transport goods and materials safely and on time
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any issues
Adhering to all relevant road traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
Maintaining accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery details
Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles as required
Providing excellent customer service to our clients and industry partners
What we're looking for
A current Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi-Combination (MC) driver's licence
Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) driving HC / MC vehicles
Strong knowledge of road rules, vehicle safety, and load management
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A commitment to safe driving practices and a demonstrated ability to work independently
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends
