We are seeking multiple experienced HR Drivers to join our team on a Monday-Friday roster. Shifts start at 5:00am and run for approximately 10-12 hours per day.
Working within the packaging and recycling sector, you will be responsible for operating garbage trucks and completing recycling collections across the Melbourne metropolitan area and out to Gippsland. This is a varied role and will require you to assist in all aspects of the recycling operation as needed.
Duties:
- Operate Rear Lift trucks to complete scheduled recycling waste collections
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and maintain vehicles in line with safety standards
- Follow route schedules efficiently, reporting any delays or issues as required
- Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and site supervisors
- Adhere to all site safety protocols, including correct use of PPE and hazard identification
To be successful:
- Hold a current and valid HR Truck Licence
- Minimum 6-12 months' HR driving experience
- Demonstrated reliability and commitment to early morning starts
- Provide a current driving history report
- Pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
- Physically fit with the ability to safely enter and exit the vehicle multiple times per shift
