Our in-house Tasty Fresh Bakery in Yatala makes the pies, sausage rolls, cakes and slices that feed workplaces between Brisbane and the Gold Coast every day. We’re looking for keen food lovers or experienced bakery assistants who want consistent weekday work and a great team environment.
Please note - Due to the variety and volumes of our products, candidates should be aware that working with certain food products, e.g. meats, dairy or gluten-based items is a requirement of this role
💰 What’s on Offer
- $33.19/hr casual rate (21+)
- Monday–Friday shifts, 4am–1pm – enjoy your evenings and weekends
- 6–8 hour shifts, 3–5 days per week

🥧 What You’ll Do
- Make pastry and assemble pies, sausage rolls and sweet pastries
- Use pastry sheeting machines (experience highly regarded but not essential)
- Weigh and prepare ingredients
- Load and unload ovens, rotate stock, and keep the bakery spotless
- Pie and cake assembly
- Cooking a variety of meats for products
- Some computer work
👨🍳 About You
- Passionate about food and take pride in your work
- Reliable, punctual and physically capable (lifting up to 25kg)
- Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen or bakery
- Enjoy working independently and as part of a supportive team
- Have full unrestricted Australian work rights
- Experience in baking, pastry or food manufacturing preferred — full training provided
- Practice cleanliness and hygiene at all times, HACCP guidelines
