We are seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to join a fast-paced transport & distribution team in Perth. This permanent role involves overseeing stock levels and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

Description
- Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with the procurement & supply chain team to ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory reports.
- Collaborate with the transport & distribution team to optimise stock flow and minimise delays.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance stock management efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in stock handling.
- Support the team with ad hoc stock-related tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Stock Controller should have:
- Forklift License (Essential)
- Proven experience in stock control or a related role within the transport & distribution industry.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with procurement & supply chain processes.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary of approximately $65,000 - $80,000
