The Role:

As the Stores Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our stores, ensuring that inventory is managed effectively and that our supply chain processes run smoothly. You will play a crucial role in supporting our HVAC services by maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring the timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all store operations, including inventory management, procurement, and distribution

• Develop and implement efficient inventory control procedures to minimise waste and optimise stock levels

• Collaborate with the sales, admin and field teams to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials

• Monitor and analyse inventory performance metrics, providing reports and recommendations to improve efficiency

• Lead and train store staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and customer service excellence

• Maintain a safe and organised store environment, complying with all safety regulations and company policies

• Liaise with management to streamline operations and support overall business objectives

Qualifications, Skills & experience

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the HVAC or related industry

• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in operations management, preferably in the HVAC or related industry

• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and practices

• Proficient with inventory management software (simPro preferred but not required)

• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Work to deadlines and adapt quickly to challenges

• A team player who enjoys working with others

• Be medically fit to undertake required work duties

• Valid manual Australian drivers licence

• Right to work in Australia
