About the Role

Step into a part-time Dental Assistant & Front Office Coordinator role (30+hrs/week) where you’ll truly make an impact. This is your chance to help run the show in a supportive, low-pressure environment—being the go-to person for both clinical operations and front desk tasks.

You’ll enjoy a role that’s autonomous yet manageable—with only one dentist at a time, the pace is never overwhelming. Some days will be busy and dynamic, while others give you time to catch your breath and focus on organisation and planning.

If you love variety, taking ownership of your work, and making a difference behind the scenes and at the front desk, this role is designed for you.

Your Day-to-Day Might Include:
  • Chairside assisting during a range of treatments

  • Sterilising instruments and keeping things spick and span

  • Stock control and clinical setup

  • Welcoming patients and managing the front desk (part-time reception)

  • Processing payments, HICAPS and health fund claims

  • Booking appointments, recalls, and supporting the patient journey

  • Bring your spark and ideas to make the clinic even better

We’d Love to Hear From You If You Are:
  • To thrive in this role, you’ll need at least 1 year of dental assisting experience—this is a non-negotiable requirement.

  • Confident in reception and admin duties with at least 6 months' experience in a healthcare or customer service environment

  • Knowledgeable in sterilisation protocols and infection control procedures

  • Friendly, reliable and proactive – you don’t wait to be told, you take initiative

  • Organised with strong communication skills

  • Someone who enjoys being part of a team but can also manage their own flow

  • Trained with Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting (bonus, not essential)

  • Familiar with EXACT software (ideal, but we’ll train the right person!)

  • Authorised to work in Australia with an appropriate visa or citizenship status

What’s In It For You?

✔ A stable role with real variety
✔ A welcoming and down-to-earth team
✔ Career progression and support for growth
✔ A chance to make a real impact in a clinic that values your ideas
✔ Great work-life balance and modern working environment
