Woodcroft College is seeking a Home Economics Faculty Assistant to join our Middle and Senior School Home Economics Faculty, commencing immediately.

The Home Economics Assistant provides administrative and learning material assistance within the Home Economics Faculty and other general school assistant duties.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the Faculty through ordering, receiving and maintaining food and goods.

• Keeping the storage areas in good order.

• Preparing materials for practical classes.

• Cleaning workspaces, utensils and equipment.

• Maintaining MSDS database.

What we're looking for

To be successful in the role you will have:

• TAFE qualifications in food handling and preparation is highly regarded.

• Recent experience working in a school-based environment.

• Completion of a Manual Handling Course.

• Positive personal presentation and the ability to promote a positive image for the College.

• Demonstrated administrative skills, being able to effectively manage competing demands and prioritisation of work.

• Ability to develop positive working relationships with the College community including students, and other staff.

• Have a willingness to support the Christian ethos of the College.

Certified Requirements:

• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

• Current Responding to Abuse and Neglect Certificate (RRHAN-EC).
