- Salary: APS6: $98,314 – $121,026 + super & EL1: $126,341 – $154,000 + super
- Locations: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane
- Start Date: 19 January
- Type: Non-ongoing, 12-month term (possible extension)
- Security: Existing Baseline clearance required

Key Accountabilities
- Conduct statistical and data analysis to inform briefings, submissions, policy papers, and reports.
- Communicate findings clearly through concise written and verbal reports.
- Provide accurate, timely advice to stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy.
- Collaborate with partner agencies on data extraction, quality assurance, and complex analysis.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards.
- Support the development of data analytics capability across the department through resources, training, and communication of findings.
- Lead strategic data initiatives and oversee project delivery.
- Provide high-level advice to senior executives and influence decision-making.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and mentor team members.
- Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality and timeliness.
- Apply judgment and initiative to deliver solutions, even with incomplete information.
- Drive cultural and technological change to enhance data-driven decision-making (EL1).
